Oh. Oh no. We are so sorry, hero.
Whether you fell fighting the Nether Brain or you crashed the nautiloid into the plains of Avernus, we are so very proud of you.
We all learn, eventually, that heroism can exact a heavy toll. Not every struggle can end in victory... Jergal comes for us all, in the end. More Faeruns have fallen to the Grand Design than not. So as painful as your loss is, hero, you are not alone in defeat. What is important is that you tried your hardest. You stood firm against evil and refused to cower, and for that...
...you are our hero.
So, take a break. Cry if you need to. And when you're ready, dry those tears, pick yourself up, and get ready to try again. Because there are countless Faeruns to save, and at least some of them are counting on you.
